17thC Joined Oak & Leather Backstool
A small scale leather and oak back stool dating from around 1680-1690.
This is a wonderful looking early English chair that has survived remarkably well, there are old repairs evident and some splits to the leather revealing the straw padding.
It could be fully restored but in its current state it shows exactly what it is.
