The Pavilion bench and chair are made to order and built by hand in England using traditional blacksmithing methods; mortise and tenon joints, rivets and carved lions paw feet.
In 1806 Humphry Repton presented his red book ‘Designs for the Pavilion at Brighton’ to George IV when he was the Prince of Wales. These designs have provided the inspiration for our Repton ‘Pavilion’ bench and chairs. The plans put forward by Repton were never used, so our bench and chair are a tangible link to a pure but unfulfilled Regency design.
Custom sizes are possible, please enquire for details.
